Summary: Arizona state maps for 3rd grade classrooms and students in Peoria Unified School District
Peoria Unified School District is updating its textbooks and Arizona-history curriculum for the first time in over 10 years and is in need of current Arizona state maps in each classroom. They have asked our club to provide large maps of Arizona to be displayed and used in each of its 130 third-grade classrooms, as well as small notebook-size maps for every third-grade student in the district. The large maps would remain in the classrooms from year to year, while the individual state maps would belong to the students. The club would purchase the maps directly from a school vendor and provide them to the district/classrooms this summer before classes resume this fall.
Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed)
Note: The original costs of the maps decreased by the time we purchased them for this project. You'll see that we added the purchase of 96 backpack and school supplies and added them to this project. These backpacks were donated to two Title I schools in the Peoria Unified School District along with the maps to those schools.

This is a friendly reminder that the final report for your district grant is due. The posted due date of April 30, 2026 is being extended one week to May 8, 2026 due to issues some clubs are having with reporting. The original deadline is up in conflict with preparation for activities associated with the district conference. This affects our ability to deal with closing some of the grants. Please assure you upload all documents necessary to close the grant. Your completed, signed report form, along with receipts for all project expenditures must be uploaded to this page by the due date
