Project Description Country: USA Location: Avalon Total Budget: $7,622 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Community needs with health and wellness and youth outreach Catalina Island Health: funding to help mobile mammogram screening event to Catalina Island. Avalon Ocean Club: to help defray costs of Catalina Island youth participating in the NAC "Off de Couch" boat race in New Port Beach. Our Island youth have been training for this race all summer. Transportation Support: For the purchase of gift cards to help citizens of Avalon cover the cost of boat transportation to the mainland for various health reason.
