Project Description Country: USA Location: Orange County, CA Total Budget: $11,000 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Three projects involving Back to School Backpacks, Mock Trial Team, Foster Youth Scholarships 1. OBK - Operation Be Kind - Back to School Backpacks for low-income youth around Orange County. Project will be completed in August 2026. RCVP Members will purchase and assemble school items into backpacks and then assist with distribution. 2. High School Mock Trial Team in Villa Park, CA - RCVP members will assist Mock Trial Team design and build a 'courtroom' for more realistic practice and competition. Funds will be used to purchase materials to build and setup 'mock courtroom'. 3. Eddie Nash Foundation - RCVP members will assist with applications and interviews to award a scholarship for an emancipated low-income youth to better prepare them for a successful path forward.
