Project Description Country: USA Location: Cheyenne County, Nebraska Total Budget: $300 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: Help establish the Cheyenne County Chapter of 'Nebraska Panhandle Blocks' by purchasing quilting supplies for quilts of valor Local quilters would like to create a Cheyenne County chapter of the regional quilts of valor group "Nebraska Panhandle Blocks." The Cheyenne County Rotary Club would like to purchase $300 in quilting supplies (batting, fabric, thread, etc.) to help create the first few quilts. We are asking for a $200 grant with $100 in matching funds, for a total of $300. Local veterans can be nominated for receiving a quilt - the foundation's goal is to wrap every veteran in a hand-made quilt.
