Project Description Country: Philippines Location: Philippines Total Budget: $5,400 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Activity Type: Health: Disease Summary: The Rotary Club of San Diego-Paradise Valley Medical Mission will provide free medical consultation, dental services, minor surgeries. The District Matching Grant fund will be used to purchase medical/clinical supplies, drugs, reading glasses and corrective glasses for the people in need. All these supplies will be taken to the Philippines by the medical mission team in January-February 2027 on our annual medical mission of 27 years. The Rotary Club of San Diego-Paradise Valley medical mission team will provide free medical care to the under served areas in the Philippines. The Medical Mission team is aided by local Rotary Clubs, volunteers doctors, dentists, surgeons and nurses from the Philippines and the USA. The medical mission serves adults, child, children with free medical consultations, dental care and hygiene, minor surgeries and corrective eyeglasses and reading glasses to those who can not avail these services. This year's medical mission, we have 3 medical mission sites. Mindoro (2 sites) and one site in Bicol, Philippines.
