Summary: Send twelve High School juniors to RYLA leadership camp in April 2027
Each year the Rotary Club of El Cajon sponsors students from three local High Schools to attend RYLA. We would like to send twelve students this year (April 2027). The four-day camp provides experience learning leadership skills, critical thinking, strategic planning and teambuilding.
Club members interview the applicants at their schools and select the students to attend. We usually have more applicants than we can fund.
The District Grant of $3000 will match our Rotary Club of El Cajon Foundation's fund of $3,200 to send twelve High School juniors to RYLA. (12 x $500)
