Project Description Country: USA Location: El Centro, CA Total Budget: $6,000 Area of Focus: None Activity Type: RI Youth Programs (Youth Exchange, RYLA, Rotaract, Interact) Summary: 4 El Centro Youth to RYLA and El Centro City Park Development RYLA, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program, $2000: We are excited to send a cohort of 2 high school juniors from the Central Union High School Interact Club and 2 high school juniors from Desert Oasis High School to the 2027 District 5340 RYLA. El Centro Rotary Club Memorial Park, $4,000: In June 2026, the City of El Centro approved a partnership with the El Centro Rotary Club to upgrade a local park with signage, landscaping, seating, installation of Peace Pole and shade structures to create a free, community green space in memory of El Centro Rotarians who have contributed to the local community for more than 100 years since the existence of our club.
