Project Description Country: USA Location: San Diego, CA Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Buying and distributing standard school supplies for K-12 school in San Diego serving unhoused youth. THIS APPLICATION IS FOR PACIFIC BEACH ROTARACT The Monarch school has identified a need for basic school supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, and pencils. They also provide their students hygiene supply kits, with essentials such as soap, toothpaste, and floss. These hygiene items are also in need of funding. The grant money will go directly towards the purchase of those school supplies and hygiene items. The Rancho Santa Fe Interact Club has organized the fundraiser, to which we will be directly pledging this grant money. Pacific Beach Rotaract club members will be involved with helping pack the hygiene kits. All items will be purchased, packed, and distributed to the students by August 20th, 2026, which is the start of the Monarch school year.
