Project Description Country: USA Location: Argyle, TX Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: Monetary Donation to the Little By Little Foundation The Little by Little Foundation exists to provide resources and hope to the poor and under-resourced in Mexico; in particular the Tarahumara community outside Chihuahua, Mexico. Their first area of focus is the Casa Hogar orphanage that provides a safe place for the children to live, attend school, go to church, and maintain basic sanitary standards. Their second area of focus is with the Tarahumaras (an indigenous tribe in Mexico). Living in the mountains, they face many difficulties...food scarcity, poor housing conditions, a harsh climate and lack of resources are but a few.
