Project Objective

To provide affordable dialysis services by donating dialysis machines to Nipun Hospital.

Preamble

Nipun Multi-speciality Hospital & ICU LLP is a leading critical care and emergency hospital located in Panch Pakhadi, Thane West, Maharashtra. Established in June 2021, the hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centric medical care with a focus on critical care, emergency response, and specialised treatments. Staffed by experienced consultants, intensivists, and trained nursing professionals, Nipun Hospital aims to deliver prompt and effective healthcare in life-threatening and complex situations.

Speciality

Nipun Multi-speciality Hospital offers a range of medical specialties, including:

• General Surgery

• Laparoscopic Surgery

• Emergency Medicine

• Critical Care (ICU)

• Psychiatry & Psychology

• Pathology Services

The hospital is equipped to handle various medical emergencies and complex surgical procedures.

Requirement

Currently, the hospital does not have the dialysis facilities and their patients are referred to other centres. The hospital caters to community from Economically weaker section of the society and their charges are far below the charges of other hospital.

We propose to setup the Dialysis centre with 4 machines to start with.

Budget Breakdown

The approximate cost of one machine is Rs. 7,80,000/-( USD 8500) thus the project cost is approximately 34,000 USD

Impact & Monitoring

• This project will directly benefit patients by enabling dialysis treatment at minimal cost.

• Rotary Club members will visit the hospital regularly to monitor usage and report to the host club board, as is standard practice for all projects.

Execution & Disbursement

• The Rotary Club will negotiate and procure dialysis machines from reputable suppliers, ensuring equipment with high performance and low maintenance requirements. Procurement will be done in consultation with hospital staff and doctors.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
