Project Description Country: USA Location: Costa Mesa, CA Total Budget: $1,000 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Water, sanitation and hygiene, Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Provide at least 150 hygiene kits for the homeless at least 4 times per year in Costa Mesa, California, USA. Share Our Selves is a local health care organization who believes that everyone deserves access to quality care. Share Our Selves works to provide care and assistance to those in need and act as an advocate for systematic change. Our club plans to have quarterly service projects to provide hygiene kits for the homeless that we will deliver to Share Our Selves in Costa Mesa, California. Members will participate in purchasing the supplies for the hygiene kits, fill each kit in a Rotarian assembly line at the service project event, then deliver the kits. Our goal for each hygiene kit build is to complete at least 150 kits for donation.
