Project Description Country: USA Location: Chadron Total Budget: $535 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Bench with Rotary Logo for Community Gathering Space in Chadron, Nebraska Between the Chadron Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chadron, our community has been hard at work to create two new spaces for gathering. The Chamber has been working to transform an old run-down park into a beautiful space for live music, while the City is working on transforming a downtown parking area into an inviting space for community events. Our Rotary Club wants to contribute to these efforts by using the grant funds to purchase a thermoplastic-coated metal bench. The bench will contain the Rotary logo to help spread awareness of the Club. We believe the addition of this bench will help create an enjoyable space for our community and visitors alike.
