Project Description Country: USA Location: Irvine Total Budget: $6,500 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Ensenada Mexico Dental and Vision Clinic for underserved children in Mexico Combined Dental and Vision clinics 2 total one in October of 25 and one in March of 26. We provide dental and vision exams, dental and vision services glasses, etc. Attached is a list of supplies, Children who can see and have healthy teeth have more opportunities to succeed in school. Research shows that children who get an education do better in the work force and have more opportunities in their communities. Project is $6,500-This will allow us to provide dental and vision services of about $125,000 to over 325 children. Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed) THE SECOND CLINIC WAS CANCELED. THIS WAS DUE TO POTITICAL UNREST IN THE AREA OF THE PROJECT. WE ARE NOT RESCHEDULING THIS. INSTEAD WE ARE APPLYING SEPARATEY FOR A NEW DG ON MENTAL HEALTH.
