Project Description Country: USA Location: Placentia Total Budget: $3,000 Areas of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene, Community economic development Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Purchase and assemble hygiene kits for homeless, to be distributed by HIS-OC and similar organizations Love Placentia is a community service day, for which Placentia Rotary will have a primary project of the purchase of hygiene and convenience products for the homeless. These items will then be assembled into kits, approximately 200 in number; the kits will then be provided to organizations which focus on the homeless, and which will distribute the kits to their clients. Smaller projects with which the Rotary club will be engaged for Love Placentia include helping cook and serve breakfasts to the community volunteers. Other projects may also arise as needed.
