Project Description Country: USA Location: Valentine, NE Total Budget: $655 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Life Jackets, Lifeguard Kits & Safety Equipment for children using the swimming pool in Valentine, NE, USA Children from the surrounding area utilize the Valentine City Swimming Pool. Many do not know how to swim. We will purchase additional life jackets for those children to use and safely enjoy swimming. We will also purchase new first aid kits and umbrellas for the lifeguards to use. Items will be purchased with the input from the local Youth Activities Coordinator this winter and equipment will be in place by May, 2026. Approximately 10 Rotarians will be involved in this project.
