Project Description Country: USA Location: Arlington Total Budget: $5,760 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Purchase eBooks for Webb Elementary Library The Rotary Club of Arlington has had a long-standing relationship with Webb Elementary School. Webb was one of the first Title I schools in AISD. Every meeting, a book is donated to Webb Library in honor of the speaker at our club's meeting. Funds will help support the purchase of eBooks for the students. Students can check out books 24/7/365, including holidays and weekends, at any time. The books can be made available to parents of students, and some parents are using these books to learn English. Once Funds are distributed, we will work with AISD and the Webb Elementary Librarian for the purchase of the eBooks.
