Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Fort Worth

Total Budget: $450

Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy

Activity Type: Education: Scholarship

Summary: Providing sponsorship for a student to attend RYLA

The cost of attending RYLA is $450. Students 16 to 18 years attend the leadership academy for 4 days in June. Our members will provide transportation to and from the academy. In addition, one of our members is the RYLA Director. The student learns leadership skills, team building and most make lasting friendships. The student learns to be a leader and takes those skills back to their high school. This translates into a better high school experience and better academic achievement.
