Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Gondia Maharashtra Total Budget: $33,720 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment To install Optical Coherence Tomography Machine in New Facility of Mahatme Eye Care (Charitable Trust) at Gondia District, Maharashtra, India - a remote and underserved tribal region facing significant challenges in accessing advanced medical care. Project Overview: Our initiative focuses on the installation of an OCT Machine (Optical Coherence Tomography) - a cutting-edge diagnostic tool that will revolutionize eye care services for the local population. • Total Project Cost: Approx. USD 33,720 (Approx) • Expected Annual Beneficiaries: 21,000+ individuals • Location: Mahatme Eye Care, Gondia, Maharashtra, India. Impact of the OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) Machine: • High-resolution imaging of the retina and optic nerve • Early detection of Age-related Macular Degeneration • Accurate diagnosis of Diabetic Retinopathy and other retinal conditions • Valuable insights into ocular and neurological disorders • Accessible diagnostics for patients who currently have no access to such facilities To bring this vision to life, we are actively seeking International Partner Clubs to collaborate on this impactful Global Grant.
