RCVP will work with Radiant Futures to identify families of students that have survived domestic violence and human trafficking. RCVP will meet and shop with them while allowing them to choose their own backpacks, personal hygiene and school items to help them restore dignity and autonomy. Total funding for this project is $1500 and will be used to make the purchases.
We estimate 10-15 members will work with Radiant Futures to assist with organizing, shopping, setup and onsite engagement with families. Planning will begin after grant approval from TRF and will be complete by August 15, 2025.
